MAA Elementary teachers

5/6 Homeroom at the end of our day!

Last minute instruction before dismissal!
I had a pretty great time today. After us teachers finished praying before the students came in, we cheered "teachers" on 3...and it was so funny to hear the kids giggling and their reactions from outside the door!! haha. This week is really basic..we're building classroom community, going over procedures, doing icebreakers, and then exploring our textbooks getting excited to learn!! I am the homeroom teacher for 5th/6th grade, but I teach all grades from 1-8! I'm really liking our class so far and I'm excited to get started with more stuff tomorrow!! :)

  2. Wow....what a great looking classroom! Such a creative teacher, you are! I really liked that star constellation I saw! The owl is a cute idea.....tell Jill. I know the kids will LOVE you. It's great to have a small class.....but it will be so hard saying good-bye. You're going to become quite close. It's great that you are having such a positive attitude--the kids will surely benefit from such LOVE. You make me so PROUD, Jeanna. Just know that we are missing you here & look forward to your return. Dad thinks you won't want to leave?! Hopefully we can skype sometime.

Enjoy your blog & pics! Keep them coming...... :) <3 Mom
